Working with Zinc

If you had said to me 1 year ago that I would be making a track with DJ Zinc I would’ve told you to slap yourself with a wet haddock.

Funny how things turn out!

This literally was the power of  Twitter, previously i’d done a couple of DJ specials for Zinc which to me was messed up enough, I mean to me this guy is an inspiration and his music has a massive place in my youth, and i’m doing him DJ specials?! Fack Orf!

Zinc had included my track Love 2nite in a couple of his Crack House mixes and used it in his essential mix for Radio 1. His Crack House E.P had been released and I got my copy.  Doing my thing on twitter I think I said something along the lines of I want to do a track with Zinc. Next thing I know is i’m hooking up with him at the RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY in London and we’re recording a track.  Fairy tale stuff and the rest is history!

Just for the record, i’m not telling everyone to tell Zinc they want to work with him and it will happen!!! I was just lucky I guess
